Brief Information

Department of Commerce was established in 1971. Prof. S. S. Mankar, Dr. N. V. Shaha, Prof. E. R. Katkar headed the department. Now at present Prof. S. H. Kamble is head of the Department.

Commerce Department has four specializations namely Adv. Accountancy, Industrial Management, Advanced Banking and Advanced Costing at B.Com. level. For development of students Department of Commerce regularly organises various pogrammes related to skill development, workshops, guest lectures, conferences and group discussions.

Department also guide to the students individually to make their carrier in C.A., C.W.A., C.S. exams and also M.P.S.C., U.P.S.C., Banking, LIC and other Government, Non-government competitive exams.

Objectives

• To give updated working knowledge to learners related to commerce, trade and industry.
• To adopt latest educational technologies such as computer and internet.
• To keep regular interaction with educational institutions, bank and industries with the help of MOU.
• To develop entrepreneurship skills among the students.
• To develop quality human resources to industry as well as society.
