Brief Information
Department of Political Science was started in 1974. With the opening of the College the Department has a great Tradition of Legendary personalities and eminent teachers Shri. R. G. Waradkar was a distinguished scholar who published 100 books on various aspectes of Political Science. An ememinaenthistorien renowned Shri. K. M. More.
Faculty member is highly qualified teachers imparting knowledge as well as moral values to students. Departmen of Political Science as far as the strength of the students is concerned. At Present Dr. Rahul Datta Mandanikar is the Head of Department and Dr. Vijay Jalindar Dethe is the faculty memebers, who have been published books and participated in many confernce, seminares and workshops.
Objectives
- Describe basic political and governmental structures processess.
- Increase sharpan analytical thinking skill and challenges students to evaluate critically the rights and responsibilities of citizens living in a democracy.
Facilities
- A separate ICT based class room is provided for the department in our college building .
- The department also has a collection of above 50 maps .

- Organized Conference - Political Science and Public Administration Dt. 25th Dec. 2015. Two day State Level Seminar - Subject - Bharata Samoril Arthik Ani Rajkiya Avhanne, Chief Guest - Kumar Ketkar, Mr. Babasaheb Bhosale, Prin. Dr. Dinkar Patil.
