Department Information

With a view to contribute the service to Nation, Society and impart Army training to Youth in future, our college has started National Cadet Corps (N.C.C.) in 1977. College has one unit of NCC under the overall supervision of 5 Maharashtra Battalion, Kolhapur.
  • The NCC unit of our college is very dynamic and enthusiastic
  • The present permitted strength is 53 cadets per unit.
  • The cadets have participated in several camps and took initiative in the organization of several activities at the unit level.
  • Since 2018 33% Girls included in the college NCC unit.
  • Current 36 Boys Cadet and 17 Girls Cadet represent the college.
  • NCC Pared every Wednesday and Saturday 10 to 01 pm.

VISION

Empower volunteer youth to become potential leaders and responsible citizens of the country.

MISSION

To develop leadership and character qualities, mould discipline and nurture social integration and cohesion through multi-faceted programmes conducted in a military environment.

MIOBJECTIVES SSION

  • To Develop Character, Discipline, Leadership, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure, and Ideals of Selfless Service amongst the Youth of the Country.
  • To Create a Human Resource of Organized, Trained and Motivated Youth, To Provide Leadership in all Walks of life and be Always Available for the Service of the Nation.
  • To Provide a Suitable Environment to Motivate the Youth to Take Up a Career in the Armed Forces.
NCC Department Core Values

The NCC is a responsive, learning and continuously evolving organization. Its activity is guided by certain core values that we Endeavour to instill among all ranks of the NCC. These include the following.

  • A sense of patriotic commitment to encourage cadets to contribute to national development.
  • Respect for diversities in religion, language, culture, ethnicity, life style and habitat to instill a sense of National unity and social cohesion.
  • Understanding the value of a just and impartial exercise of authority.
  • Ability to participate in community development and other social program.
  • A healthy life style free of substance abuse and other unhealthy practices.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of poor and socially disadvantaged fellow citizens.
  • Inculcating habits of restraint and self-awareness.
  • Understanding the values of honesty, truthfulness, sacrifice and hard work.
