Department Information
The Department of Economics was started in 1974. Since its inception, it has been focusing on proper blending of 'quality' and 'relevance’. At present, Prof. Dr. Mrs. S. S. Rathod is the Head and Dr. D. P. Gawade is the Asst. Professor. Other faculty requirement is met by appointing 2 CHB faculties.

- To impart the knowledge of changing economic developments to the students.
- To acquaint the students with the changing nature of world economics from ancient economics to micro and macro economics of current scenario.

Departmental Facilities and Use of ICT Tools:
The Department of Economics practiced various ICT tools in the teaching learning processes aiming to make the lectures more resourceful. E-Learning sources played a vital role to understand basics concepts of Economics in effective manners.
