Innovative Programmes:

The Department of Chemistry has initiated many innovative practices to ensure the growth of students during the assessment period from 2017-18 To 2021-22. These practices have made academic environment more vibrant and energetic. Major innovative practices are:

Chemistry Corner

The concept of Chemistry Corner is our best innovative practice in which one as it gives extremely wide scope for the students to acquire command over the use of English. Every day the students write phrases, idioms; phrasal verbs etc. on the English Gallery Board and read aloud the same for the benefit of other students. All the students write the content in their notebooks. This helps a lot to improve their vocabulary enabling them competent users of we present wall paper on different themes during assessment period.

The Department of Chemistry has conducted Poster presentation event on the occasion of Chemistry Week in every year. The students represent the posters related to information about various innovative topics in chemistry.

It is published with the aim of developing creativity of the students. It provides ample opportunities to develop the skills & various ideas of Chemistry in day to day life.

Student-centric Programmes :

1) Study Tours:

The Department of Chemistry organizes industrial tours in order to provide experiential learning to the students. During the Academic Year, the study tour to Bhogavati sugar Factory to understand how sugar was made.

2) Participation in Avishkar Competition:

To increase students self-confidence about presenting present their ideas in form of poster presentation.

National Webinar

National webinar on ‘Recent Trends in Chemistry’on 01st June 2021. The resource person introduces various methods of the recent trends in Chemistry to archive the academic excellence, the students and teachers get awareness in research filed of Chemistry.

The Department of Chemistry organizes various subject related guest lectures in order to expose to the students with the in-depth knowledge of English language and literature.
